My one tip would be to read Joey's setup post in the FAQ/Must Read section. I thought I may have mistyped the serial number, so I double checked the serial number and it matches my bass. I also looked at some of the wood examples you have on your website for comparison, and they don't match. FWIW, I always thought mine kind of looked like a flamed walnut.
