I own a Spoiler (1983?) with a serial number of 83S2549. What is the history of this bass? Also, do you have any idea what the current market value of my bass is? The information that you kind people have graciously provided for me will be very helpful as I am selling my beloved Spoiler. I have made the jump to 5-string for our church's high-energy gospel music services and am not playing the Alembic much these days.(I am currently playing a Cirrus 5 and am looking to add a Ken Smith 5) It has given me many years of joy and I pray that someone else can experience the same!
