This is a photo of me with the band I play with, Workhorse with Kenny Huffman. We did a promo shot for an upcoming gig in the local newspaper, and this is it. I'm holding my '06 Stanley Clarke Signature Standard, purchased at G-Cat Guitars in Seoul, Republic of Korea in 2006.

Nice shot. What is it with drummers. If no one had been holding an instrument or drumsticks, I could have picked the drummer on the first try. :-)

If no one had been wearing logo shirts would it still have been as easy? :>)

How does one gig in a newspaper? Oh, never mind... :-)

This pictures shows why every band needs at least one lefty playing a stringed instrument. Poor Alan is standing apart from his bandmates, separated by the neck of his bass. Now, if he were lefty, the neck would be to the outside and you could see some real togetherness happening there!

As far as picking out the drummer, I don't think I could have done it. I would have ruled out Alan because he looks too intelligent and refined to just hit things with sticks. Any of the other three vaguely resemble drummers I have played with over the years, though.

Alan, congrats on some press and best of luck with the gig! Let us know how it turns out for you.

Bob must be an ex english teacher.(We did a promo shot in the local newspaper for an upcoming gig)Ha! I'm sure Alans muscianship is better that his (or mine) grammar. Drummers should have sticks (or bass drums) in hand and not logos on shirt (unless endorsed) by maufacturer.I'm good with the Pink Floyd Piggy logo though which oozes coolness! I would have tagged Alans singer Kenny as the bass player or drummer. Alan should have been shifted to the right side and drummer boy in the center while Kenny should have been to the left (slightly to the outside?)This of course is just my professional opinion....Good Luck Alan on your next upcoming photo!......Steve
