I had been looking for a 6. Found this through a very reputable seller who specializes in high-end basses on eBay. My second Alembic, and it's every bit as awesome as my first (a Series I). BTW, I requested information on this bass when I registered it, but obviously you can ignore the other request in the registration. |

Hi Tom, Here's what I found out about your bass: top: Quilted Maple (noted as "Very Quilted Maple Primo Choice") accent: Walnut pinstripe body: Maple through-body neck: 5-piece Maple with 4 Walnut pinstripes, 34" long scale pickups: Alembic MXY controls: volume, pan, filter, Q switch, mono output birthday: July 28, 1993 originally made for: Guitar Resurrection, Austin, TX There was one previously registered owner in Texas. |

Looks like ebony to me. Ebony can have a variety of colors and patters. |

Yup. Macassar Ebony is fairly normal for w-i-d-e fingerboards around here. |
