I have a maple bodied Essence with a quilted maple top with matching quilt headstock (had for years). I purchased it used, and have always wondered about its lineage. Also, will the build sheet generally say the grade of quilt maple on the bass? I sure love this bass - it took me years to finally get one, and it absolutely exceeds my expectations!
