Hi, Many years ago I purchased a new Alembic Epic Special Edition #10: SN 98W11809 from a guitar center in NJ. Back then, I was notoriously bad about registering equipment, and was wondering if it would be possible to register it now! Regards! Marc PS - I also was wondering if you still "alembicize" basses, I also have a Starfire I. |

Hi Marc, Here's the details from the instrument file: top: Flame Maple accent: Purpleheart and Maple veneers body: Mahogany neck: 3-piece Maple with 2 Walnut pinstripes fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid (plastic) inlays plates: brass birthday: July 17, 1998 originally made for: Guitar Center This was part of a 60 piece order for Guitar Center's anniversary model. This one is number 10 of the edition and it should bear an engraved truss rod plate. (Message edited by mica on March 17, 2009) |

One other note: apparently, there is an Essence bass out there with the same serial number, only with a "K" for the alpha character. |
