Mica:

I just picked this beautiful Europa up on eBay. Can you tell me where it was originally sold? Do you have a particular name for the finish color? Thanks in advance!!

When ordering my bass, I seriously thought about that color, but I went for natural wood. That blue is amazing though.

Hi Steve,

Here's what I found in the file:

top: Flame Maple
accent: Walnut and Maple pinstripes
body: Mahogany
neck: Maple and Purpleheart
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid ovals
finish: Blue Moonburst
birthday: September 3, 1993
originally made for: Master Musician

I love the Blue Moonburst finish. There's a few variations of it, but I like this style with the faint blue at the center getting dark at the edge.

I was very close to getting this color for my bass, but then in my own head found logic that if I was going to get a unlined fretless, I wanted it more natural looking. If I get another Alembic, it's for sure going to be that color. Amazing
