Please, I'd like to know more about my Rogue's history.

It seems to be made in Mahogany with Purpleheart stripe under a Maple top, but I'm not sure about the stripe and top (it certainly looks like Maple, but mixing flames, some birds-eye spots and even tints of grey).

It also have Oval inlays and I was wondering if it really is Mother-of-Pearl. Mica, can you tell me some more?

How can you upload such big photos?

I was trying to show the Top figuring, but I think you'll not be able to see it in this tiny 150K size...

Mario,

The file size is probably being caused by the "quality" of your .jpg (I assume you are not using .bmp files). If you use a PC, you can open the file in Paint and resave it as a jpg. This tends to reduce the file size significantly. 800 x 600 files should be under the file size limit.

BTW, nice looking Rogue!

Hi Mario,

Sorry this has taken me so long the research, but I finally have some details about your bass:

top: Burl Maple
accent: Purpleheart laminate
body: Mahogany
neck: 3-piece Maple with 2 Walnut pinstripes
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Ebony with Pearloid (plastic) inlays
pickups: MXY4
controls: volume, blend, filter, Q-switch, bass c/f/b, treble c/f/b, mono output side-mounted
finish: Satin-natural Polyurethane (now discontinued)
birthday: January 16, 1997

There's nothing else to report - except that you've got a beautiful Alembic bass.
