Just purchased an Alembic Elan - used (First Alembic) Have always wanted one and bought this online from photo's from reputable dealer. Looks stunning in the photos, but would love to verify origins and any history that might go with it. It should arrive with me in less than 3 days from now and I cannot wait to get to know it! Any help would be really appreciated. P.S My User name is old nickname from school Not because I used to play like Mark King although I try my best!!!

Hi Alex,

Here's the details I found in this instrument file:

top: Figured Walnut
body: Maple
neck: 3-piece Maple
scale: long 34"
fingerboard: Ebony with Pearloid (plastic) inlays
pickups: Alembic PJ combo
controls: volume, pan, filter, Q switch, mono output
birthday: not recorded, but likely late August 1989
originally made for: Farrow's Music

There's no other ownership, repair or modifications in the records.
