Hey everyone,
Well, this April 8th will be my 1st gig with my group BopTop since rotator cuff surgery last June 27th. Physical therapy was really painful!I had to get all of my calluses back (yikes) that was pretty tough, but the most challenging part was building the callous on the side of my left thumb for the thumb position (12th fret) on the Double bass, that was a killer.Anyway,my group has rehearsed mostly all of the tunes we do (I sing too) I can't wait to perform again! We cover Marylin Scott, Al Jareau, Chick Corea, McCoy Tyner (my cousin), of course Stanley Clarke's stuff, and we cover the standards too. (I'm trying to get the guys to cover Spiro Gyra, Brian Bromberg, and Jeff Lorber now)We will perform @ The Bullfrog Brewery in Williamsport 7-10.This should be a blast! Hopefully I can get some photos. Until then!

Alright, Charlie!
Welcome back to the continuing quest for good grooves and sweet phrases. Have fun, my man.

Thank you Mike!
As a keeper of the low frequency waves, I hereby reaffirm my quest to continue to lay down the thunderous transformational groove-a-lischous low frenquencies supported by the transendental evoking, sweet phrases elicited from the upper register of the finest crafted bass in this solar system!
Peace, my brother!
