Hello all!!!
bought this medium scale spoiler from NJ Guitar & Bass 'bout a year ago, here's what I know:
84S3289
mahogany body
coco bolo top
ebony fingerboard
3 piece maple neck
usual brass bits
'standard electronics' with Q-pass
looks well used, battered and beleaguered but sounds as warm fat and juicy as the day she was born!

What I'm most interested in is this basses 'journey', I'd love to know if it was built for anyone in particular or who's used/owned it etc.
any info would be most appreciated!! will post some pics of its shameful cosmetic condition if anyones interested...... (one pic on profile)

Hi Rob,

I will certainly get to your request about the history of your bass. I appreciate your patience as the records are not electronic, and do require a bit of cross referencing to make sure the details I supply are correct.

It actually looks like you have most of the details that I normally find in the file. What I'd hope to find for you in addition is the specific birthday, and the state/country that any previous registered owner had the bass in. Specific details about owners is not something I share out of respect for privacy.

Note I only get a chance to fulfill a few requests each day, and for the past couple of weeks I've been off this task preparing for and attending the Chicago Gathering.

I will send you an email when this thread is next updated with information from the factory. I do this on all requests that are more than a month old.
