Hi Mica / All.

Seen this on eBay for sale here in the UK and keen to know what you can tell me about it from its file.

Thanks very much

James; Mica generally doesn't get to these fast enough to have the information before a listing expires. However, for this one, the build card is pictured in the listing and shows the following:

Top and back body laminates - Bubinga
Neck laminates - Maple and Purpleheart
Fingerboard - Ebony
Headstock Veneers - Bubinga
Tuners - Schaller
Inlays - Mother of Pearl
Scale length - 32"
Electronics - PF6B

That sure is a beauty James. It's quite unusual to see a series bass on sale here in the UK. In the past I have seen signature basses, (albeit, newer), go up on ebay UK for around that price. If I hadn't already bought an Alembic this year I'd be seriously considering fighting my conscience about bidding on that one. All the best if you decide to bid on it.

Thanks guys.

I agree it's an absolute beauty. Sadly I just couldn't justify it in the end (or was reminded that I couldn't really!). Like you, Jazzyvee, I bought myself a lovely SC Sig at the start of the year so I think my family would have me committed if I bought another so soon. Was seriously tempted, though.

Looks like no-one else could afford to go to that level as it had no bids again - guess I'll see if he puts it back on at a lower price..... which could be a bad thing for my bank balance!! :-)

Thanks again
James
