89SC5398 Stanley Clarke. Any info on this bass would be appreciated. I have purchased it. I also checked the Alembic stolen register before buying. $3695 AUD in excellent condition. I see from a search, that Waggaboy used to own this bass. It is a Signature Deluxe. (Message edited by cracker on October 28, 2009) (Message edited by cracker on October 28, 2009) |

What a lovely bass you have there. . Is that the standard case for it? Mine looks completely different. Jazzyvee |

I don't know what the standard Alembic case looks like. It looks to be properly fitted. It also has a notch for the basses with the point. Thanks for the compliment, but credit must go to the previous owners for it's condition. This is my first Alembic. |

Forgive me if I am wrong, I don't think that's the standard case for this SC. The case looks like it was designed for a Series I long scale. Notice the cushioned pointed bottom... I would be a little concern of the fit. That's a Beautiful Bass! |

Does anyone have a photo of the case it should have?? The bass fits very well in this case and doesn't move at all. It came to me via courier (8days in the freight system) without incident. Case was bubble wrapped, though. |

I think your cool with the case you have, no worries Alan. When at home, my basses are stay on a stand in my favorite corner of the room... (no foot traffic). Enjoy that beauty in good health. You are with a slamming awesome bass. |
