Earl, Hardly a low end model, very nice Excel. If you check a few other look-ups, you will see that it takes 2-3 months from first request. This is a small family run business and Mica provides this service as a courtesy to all of us in her "spare time" |

Earl, If you happen to view other serial number lookups you may notice that it can take several months to complete. Alembic is a small organization with a lot going on and they do the very best that they can under all of the challenges that can occur. This an added bonus that is done for all of us by Alembic and patience is appreciated. Each file is written on a 3x5 card and needs to first be located and then deciphered. We are all treated the same by Alembic and I do not believe there is any such thing as a low end Alembic. BTW, you have a beautiful Excel there! I hope that this helps and that you are enjoying the bass. Art |

Earl, I am sure Mica has not gotten to your bass yet. Mica will post an update even when the card cannot be located. As Art stated it can take several months and from what I can see they are just getting to responses from this past December and January. Keith |

Hi Earl and thanks for checking back on the thread. The 'flag' only gets marked after Mica completes her research. It does get taken in a next in line fashion and other shop priorities often get in the way of this service. Rest assured that if the file is available that you will receive the information. Mica sends an email to the user that starts the post in this category once it reaches its 'flag'. Regards, Art |
