So I was walking down memory lane and came across REO Speedwagon's You Get What You Play For. Looks like an ALembic to me that is in Gregg Philbin's hands. |

I just saw REO in Boston a couple of weeks ago. They sounded great. They even played Golden Country from R.E.O./T.W.O. I got to hang out with them after the show and had a great conversation with Bruce Hall about basses, strings, music and life. He has 3 younger brothers, all of whom play bass. He primarily plays Fender Jazz basses and has a beautiful 1965 with a blonde finish. Also had a conversation with Kevin Cronin about different genres. I told him that I usually play rock, blues and country. He likes a lot of different styles asked me if I could play jazz. In my opinion, REO is very underrated and under appreciated. |

I liked Gary Richrath's playing. |
