I'm sorry! Wrong serialnumber and can't delete my last message from 07-03-10.
Should be:
Hi,
I've purchased a 5-string Alembic 05EVH13469. It's an 'custombuild' bass, originally build for dutch Edwin van Huik, Bassconnection Holland. I've got very little information about this bass (used materials, electronics, esp. tonecontrol). Could you help me out?
Thanx,
Herman Stammers, Bemmel, Holland

Hi Herman and welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your new bass and I hope you are enjoying it! Please be patient while waiting for this look-up. Please note from past postings that the research takes some time but rest assured that it will get done. Enjoy that bass and play it heathy!

Hi Herman,
What is the actual serialnumber of your bass.
Since four days I am the proud owner of the bass with the serialnumber you mentioned. And the bass on mica's picture is the one I own. See my picture.

Congratulations, that is a beauty!

It definitely corresponds to the build details that Mica posted, so it must be the same instrument.

Thnx.

I also like to know some details about my previous bass: Epic 94W8113.
Both basses purchased at Bass Connection in Hilversum, Netherlands.

A better picture of the EVH-5:

Beautiful walnut top!

Roy; you should start a new thread for a lookup on this bass.

Thnx.

Although this bass is 5 years old, it looks and feels brand new as if the previous owner never played on it.

I will start a new thread for my previous bass.
