Hi all.

Sadly I have managed to lose one of the socket screws holding on the casing of my F1-X (fell under the floorboards while I had the cover off to change the jumper settings). :-(

Does anyone know what the replacement screws would be (I'm not sure how you measure these things). They look like they are M3x5mm from looking on-line but it would be good to know for sure before ordering some replacements on-line.

Any help would be really kind.

Thanks very much
James

James. I can't give you the measurements but, as they've come from america I think it's unlikely they'll be metric screws. More likely UNF. Hopefully one of our transatlantic friends can chime in.

Non-metric buttonhead screws, 6-32, 1/4" length

James, email me your mailing address and I'll send you a couple - it's unlikely you'll find them at your local hardware store.

Hi Graeme / Barnes (love the bass on your profile pic btw, Barnes).

Thanks very much for the advice.

Hi Mica - thank you ever so much for that. I really appreciate it. I had spent some time today trawling around modelling shops and the like as they seem to stock similar things for radio-controlled cars as it happens (hardware stores in London hadn't anything), but you're correct - no joy with that exact size when I was matching another of the remaining screws with what I could find.

It's very kind of you to send me a couple - I'll drop you my address now.

Thanks again for all the help.
Best wishes

Hi Mica.

Just wanted to say thank you ever so much for having posted me a couple of replacement screws (and the allen key to tighten them up).

They arrived in the post yesterday.

I really appreciate it.
Many thanks again
James
