Hi Cory, Here is what I found in the instrument record: SCSB4 Stanley Clarke Signature Deluxe top and back: Coco Bolo accent: not clearly recorded! body: not clearly recorded! neck: 5-piece Maple and Purpleheart scale: 30.75" short neck carving: "a little thinner than normal" fingerboard: Ebony inlays: Pearloid (plastic) ovals pickups: AXY controls: "Signature" volume, pan, filter x2, 2-position Q-switch x2, mono output originally made for: private individual The original owner was from California and they purchased the bass directly from us. The second and third registered owners were in Texas. In 1993, the third owner faxed me a report on the bass, describing its current condition and some slight modifications. Here's some of that report: The pickups are currently connected so that the front knob operates the treble pickup and the back knob operates the bass pickup. The truss rod cover has the plating smeared off in one place. One tuning key has plating that is chipped off. One scratch in the body, top near end, 1/64" deep, 3/8" long, 1/64" wide That's it! |
