I just received my Alembic Tribute yesterday. It is my first Alembic and a dream guitar. I've been playing for 35 years and have played Martins, Gibson Les Pauls, Fender Custom Shop Strats, Travis Beans, G&Ls, and Ovations. None are in the same league. The neck is so playable, the enormous variety of sounds, and the purity of the tone are amazing. I think that I'm in love. Chris |

Dude, you 'think' that you're in love??? I believe that you meant to say that you're 'absolutely, unequivocally, positively, hopelessly' in love. But seriously, congratulations on your new axe...she sure is beautiful! BTW, are those custom neck inlays (hard to tell by the picture), and if so, may we have some closeup shots?? Nice to have you aboard............ Chris. |

Chris: Welcome aboard!! Beautiful Tribute. I rarely play guitar, but whenever I see a Tribute, I want one!! I'd love to see some close-ups of your new friend, too. Is that a point at the tail of the Tribute body shape?? If so, what a cool idea! I'd sure like to get a closer look at your guitar. Enjoy it. We know how Alembic basses surpass others. Would love to hear more of your impressions of the Alembic guitar in comparison to the other icons of its kind. Bill |

Wow - flame maple body core and neck! That Coco is beautiful. In fact, I think I like the back even more than the front. The straight grain is really commanding. It should be against the law not to have continuous wood backplates with any Coco Bolo instrument. ;-) EffClef |

A true piece of art. Is wish my guitar player would buy one instead of playing his 500.000 year old gibson ES, which sounds ok, but looks like trash. Maybe I should pay the guy a bit more. Enjoy it. Manfred |

Congrats! That's a really sweet looking Tribute! I got a Tribute myself just a couple months back and if your experience turns out to be anything like mine you will be finding new palettes of tones and reveling in them for some time to come. There just aren't enough superlatives to describe Alembics. Enjoy, Court |

Welcome Chris. Beautiful, beautiful guitar, congratulations. The guitar contingency is getting rather large around here. Nice, we should have one hell of a jam should the world gathering ever take place. Sam |

I'm vacillating between awe and mesmerize! Welcome to the club. We guitarists are slim pickins around here. It's good to have an additional treble cleffer to share in our delight. Have fun, enjoy! (Message edited by hollis on March 22, 2004) |
