Hi Hgregs, if you have never had an Europa before, you are in for an amazing treat. I have one also in bocate and they are wonderful easy to use live and very versatile basses. I wish you all the best with your new acquisition. jazzyvee |

Hi Greg, Here's what I found in the instrument file: ULB5 Europa bass top: Bocate accent: Maple and Walnut pinstripes body: Mahogany neck: 7-piece Maple and Purpleheart scale: 34" long fingerboard: Ebony taper: 1.75 x 2.625 inlays: Pearloid (plastic) ovals side LEDs: red pickups: MXY56 controls: "Europa" volume, pan, filter, 2-position Q-switch, bass cut/flat/boost switch, treble cut/flat/boost switch, mono side-mounted output originally made for: Guitar Resurrection, custom order birthday: May 16, 1994 There's no history of repair on this bass, but you should be aware that the Switchcraft barrel jacks in this model wear out and require replacement usually every 5-10 years. You can call us at 707-523-2611 to order one or two as spares. They plug in, and they are not terribly expensive. |
