Sorry about the 150 kb comment, I know server space is an issue, my full guitar pic is 158kb on the lowest resolution setting the camera has so this is all y'all get! Looking forward to the spec sheet on this one, I know it will be awhile, but worth the wait! In the meantime, Happy Holidays to the Alembic company and all it's great luthiers and people behind the scenes!

That Epic is a bass alright - no mistaking that for a guitar.

To reduce the file size, you need photo editing software, like IrfanView (freeware). Use the Save As option, selecting the advanced properties for JPG. You lower the percentage to perhaps 60 or 75%. You probably won't notice much of an on-screen difference, but the file size will be greatly reduced.

There's also an additional plug-in for Irfanview that adds a Save For Web option to the menu, that does it all in one go.

Hi Earl,

Here's what I was able to find out about your bass:

WLB5 Epic 5-string bass
top: Wengé
accent: Maple pinstripe
body: Mahogany
neck: 5-piece Maple
scale length: 34" long
fingerboard: Ebony
inlays: none
pickups: MXY56
controls: "Epic" volume, pan, bass, treble, mono output
hardware: polished brass
finish: Polyurethane satin natural (oil-look)
originally made for: Bass Northwest, WA
birthday: February 8, 1996 (aquarius)

Nothing else to report, but at least you know all the materials now.
