OK, I give in. I have been bitten by the Alembic bug and how! Selling my 1981 G&L L-1000 w/HSC. The serial # is B007507. She is a true blonde, check the roots! I am sure the folks here know of this bass and the infamous 'OMG' switch. I started playing G&L's in the late 80's after my disappointment with Fender P basses. This is what a P bass wishes it could be, light when you want and deep when you need it. She comes with a HSC. There is finish checking and some dings as to be expected on a 30 year old bass. I have tried to photograph all angles. There is little if any fret wear. There is some arm wear and bruises. Please check the pics for this. The bass is a monster and drips with serious MOJO but my B000833 L1K HOG/Maple is finished her re-fret and I am trying to fund another Alembic, a Rouge in TX with my name on it. Here is a link to my Picasa album: https://picasaweb.google.com/109227691592705810106/MesaAndGL?authkey=Gv1sRgCNK60eLHtPTJ0QE# The price is $900 shipped CONUS or if you are in the Mid-Atlantic, I can do $850. Here are a teaser shot as well. Please feel free to as any and all questions.
