Yes , Cool , But I am curious how the finger board connects to the neck and as to the transfer of resonance through out the unit with out sympathetic vibrations and artifact anomalies that will color the sound. Plain and simple ; how well does such a system really work ? Any experiences around here ? |

I was curious too, Wolf, so I did some "research" (read "Google"), and it seems the original neck was planed down & a metal plate attached - the fretboards are magnetic. In the dicussion I found, those with experience seemed split about evenly between "it's ruined every bass it was put on" & "mine was great". Of course, the former camp did include Roger Sadowski..... Peter, Yes , I "Googled" with search words 'Novatone Fretboards". I read the" Talk Bass " comments. It seems it might have some faults . I see the name reference ; Roger Sadowski . |
