This came up on here a couple years ago, I would totally be all over it if it didn't look like the headstock had been snapped off at one point ~Taylor |

Former employee? Shoot, if that was a 4 string I'd take a run at it, rout for a p pickup, buy an activator p with a vol/filter harness and be one happy camper. (Message edited by tbrannon on June 28, 2011) |

Hi Taylor, thanks for the welcome, I have long been a lurker here, not a contributor, but since this popped up on CL in my neck of the woods, I thought I'd chime in. Sadly, Not my body though. I remember it popping up on Sacramento craigslist a year or two ago. |

I would love to own a completed bass like that, but would never touch one under these circumstances. I'm surprised that Alembic can't lay claim to it. -bob |

If I had the money, and the way to make money get to the Alembic Headquarters, I'd buy it, then send it to the Mothership to let them finish the job, and have them charge me a reasonable amount for it. Unfortunately, I can't do any. |

My thoughts exactly, Juan.... If one was to purchase the bass and send it to the mothership w/ a set of activators, I'd be curious if they'd complete it (regardless of logo or warranty). Upon arrival if there were any major defects in the construction, would they be willing to credit the buyer any reasonable amount for its safe return? |
