There's a 4 string Epic in what appears to be pretty good shape with birdseye top on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=4713&item=3732250117&rd=1. Reasonable BIN ($800) - I'd grab it if it were a 5 string. Is there some reason it's still sitting there? Usually the low BINs go quickly. Bill |

For the record, the Buy-it-Now price was $750 yesterday. I strongly considered buying it, but I have no use for another 4-string and I would not want the hassle of buying it just to sell it. I still think $800 is a good price, but $750 was a great deal, and perhaps if someone interested emails the seller, they will still sell for $750. Adam |

Well Bill i have a 5 string EPIC in showroom condition. Even the case (PRO TEC) is almost like new ... maybe a little dust! Mine is a little more expensive but it's perfect. I bought it for $1300 a few months ago from Bass NorthWest but shortly after found my dream bass (A brand new Stanley Clark model) and now need to sell the Epic to help pay off my credit card bill. If you're interested is in the "show your bass" section of this club, club member 88persuader and my e-mail is korg@comcast.net (I also have a 1988 Alembic persuader!) |
