Have good money ready for alembic six string series 1 or 2 bass. budget is limited only by what is on offer, obviously a newish bass is going to fetch more than an older 6. Will fly to US to pick up in person if needed. |

Garth, best of luck in your search. Keep your eyes out, here, ebay, Craig's List, LowEnd Bass, and Bass Northwest. Scour the internet, put out your feelers, and keep your ear to the ground- you never know when lightening will strike!!! |

Garth, When are you headed to Europe? Wish I could help more... It sounds like the bass you're thinking about getting will work great for you and your playing needs. You'll love the Europa- I had a Europa 6, and it played like butter- one of the easiest Alembics I've ever played. It might be worth your while to hold out a bit longer- I purchased 2 Epic 6's (a Zebrawood and that fantastic Ebony Lam necked one), a Custom Europa with a big standard body and crown headstock, and another regular Europa. The Europas played like butter, as well as the custom Epic. I searched for 15 years before I found the S2 I have now, and it was worth the wait, for sure. Best;) Frank |
