Wish I could help more... It sounds like the bass you're thinking about getting will work great for you and your playing needs. You'll love the Europa- I had a Europa 6, and it played like butter- one of the easiest Alembics I've ever played. It might be worth your while to hold out a bit longer- I purchased 2 Epic 6's (a Zebrawood and that fantastic Ebony Lam necked one), a Custom Europa with a big standard body and crown headstock, and another regular Europa. The Europas played like butter, as well as the custom Epic. I searched for 15 years before I found the S2 I have now, and it was worth the wait, for sure. Best;) Frank
