Schaller M4, shouldn't be too hard to find (I guess it no longer says W Germany, but that's history doing its bit).

This eBay seller has many sellections of Schaller tuners from one each side.
But I believe, you can get the set of 4 tuners by reasonable price on eBay.

By the way, if you want "Alembic tuner" ("A" on the back), your bass needs routing for the "A" tuner.
"A" tuner has thick shaft than "S".

We don't stock Schaller tuners, so we would be acting more as a delaying agent in getting the part you need. I did a Google search for "Schaller M4" and came up with a decent sized list of results on their shopping page, even some people that will sell singles.

Another question. My tuners have the screwhole on the side. There are several different models of M4s. As long as I find an M4 with screwhole on the side does that mean that it will be a clean replacement? Thanks.

AFAIK, that's the "newer" placement. The anchor screw was on the bottom originally, but they changed it in the early 1980s. That's new to us! I've never had trouble fitting a more recent M4 on an older bass when the holes line up, but I don't see the Schallers much these days, so perhaps some more expert opinions can chime in on this.

There are lots of people who would want the one with the anchor on the bottom for vintage repairs, so if you find any of those, be sure to share a link for those folks.
