Are they kidding? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130562508985+

or was this an F-2B that was actually used both by David Gilmore AND the Grateful Dead. I suppose that anyone can ask any price for any item on EBay, but I recently picked up a FX-1 for $300 (there's one currently on the Detroit Craig's List for $275 - careful)and have seen F-2Bs going for anywhere between $500-$600.

Regarding this one........

.... I recently picked up a FX-1 for $300 (there's one currently on the Detroit Craig's List for $275 - careful)....

That one was legit. How do I know? It was one of mine. I had two. The 2nd was modified by a previous owner. I had sold it once for $325 but the buyer got squeamish about the mods and I refunded his money, so this time I sold that one ONLY LOCAL IN DETROIT and ONLY TO SOMEONE WHO COULD SEE THE MODS AND AGREE THAT IT WAS OK. That happened and now I and the new owner are both happy happy. A previous owner moved the XLR pad to the back and the on/off switch to the front.

The other one that I own is now posted for sale here at a more logical $450

Peace,

James

Amazingly, there were no bids for this one. Gee, I wonder why.
