$4300 for that seems like a pretty good deal. (Did I do the conversion correctly?)

I really enjoy my Tribute. Even acoustically it has a great and distinctive tone.

Todd.

Sounds like a great deal to me, especially considering that Alembic prices in Europe are usually much higher than US

Oddly enough, whenever a 2002/2003 cocobolo Tribute is offered these days, I instantly think about the one that was stolen from a guitar shop around January... just a reminder of what all of you probably know here, get the serial and verify with Mica first before you pull the trigger.

I don't smell a fishy auction here, just... you know, be careful.

all the best,
Christian

Zero feedback and payment by bank transfer only. I'd be careful guys.

This might be one to check out for a local buyer. I do not like the " bank transfer " stipulation. One of you local folks could inquire with this seller to see if they are receptive to local pickup and payment. Better yet go check it out in person before making a commitment to purchase. Just a few thoughts .

Comparing the pictures of these two very dark Tributes:

no match

They are not the same guitar. Still, caution should be observed as has already been suggested.

I'm pretty confident that if one of the overseas members was interested in it, one our North Western UK, ABI Agents ( Alembic Bureau of Investigation) could check it out and report some findings to assist you.
That said, i'll be in Manchester for a few days in late October and Blackpool is just over an hour further North and towards the coast from there so if i'm staying there instead of commuting and anyone really is interested let me know.

PLEASE BEWARE

I had a very good friend contact the seller to meet and do a cash deal. The seller insists on a bank transfer first and only then will he meet to hand over the guitar. SCAM!
