I really wanted a 5 string to go along with my 4 string but,I purchased an EBS Octabass and I run that thru my Bag End 18"bass side/pickup and now I really don't feel the need (at this point) to buy a 5 string because my octbass gives me that massive low "B" quality. The only thing that I cant do is "thumb/pizzacato an open"B"....I use a stereo rig though. If you are using a stereo rig, buy yourself the Octabass and you will not be dissapointed! |
