I have a 1994 Elan plus for sale. This bass is still like brand new. I am only selling it because I never play it. It is figured walnut. This bass is the most beautiful bass I have ever seen, but just sits in the case. Has never been on the road. Used about 10 times. Asking $2000.00 as it is worth every penny. Listed for $4000.00 when I bought it.

Oh my-o-my ...what a BEautiful bass. I love the inplant (oh ..uhuh is THAT english????) of those J-style pick-ups. The bass must sound very "growly". Mmmmmmm ...I like that.

OK ...ee ...mee ...my ...mo ...let's take THAT bank to rob tonight!

Paul the bad one

It does growl. It sounds great. I went with the Alembic recommendation on the double J style and I am glad I did. If you are interested shoot me an email at rlhbass@yahoo.com.

Thanks Bob,

I didnt want to speak too soon, but it arrived earlier today, and man~ what a bass!!!!! To confirm Paul's hunch Boy, Does It GROWL!!!!!!.... I usually take flats on my fretless, but I'm gonna leave the roundwounds on for now.
I couldnt have asked for a better fretless to add to my arsenal~ before this came up for sale, I was considering building a similar bass w/ a Moses graphite neck, Warmoth body and Alembic guts, but this took the cake.... The Europa electronics make me wonder if I'll be content w/ the Essesnce+Q that are on my custom order!

Many thanks to Ray~ he did an excellent job with the transaction & the shipping. Rest assured, your bass has found a good home!

-Mike
