-I have for sale a 1995 Alembic Epic 5 fretless bass.
-This bass looks brand new. There is not a mark on it, and has that new bass look.
-I am the second owner, but due to a broken left index finger I am not able to play it in a way I would like.
-This bass started out as a fretted bass, but the previous owner had them professionally removed, and maple slices glued into the fretboard.
-I have had this bass about 6 months, and have had the fretboard "dressed" by a local luthier.
-The neck on this bass is beautiful with alternating white and chocolate maple. Please see picture.
-The front face of this bass is the optional, and beautiful flame walnut.
-The bass comes with the original, perfect shape Alembic hard case and has the supplied tools that come with the bass.
-I am asking what I paid for the bass. $1850 plus will split the shipping charge. Suggest Fedex.
-If you want to hear this bass, i believe I can send you a link to hear this exact bass played by the previous owner. Great MMMMMWWWWWWWAAAAAAA!
-Please view the pictures, and thanks for reading,
Bruce

The mark on the top (actually the bottom) of the body, as seen in the rear view is a natural in the wood, and the black marks on the back of the neck are from being in the case most of it's life. I need to contact Alembic on how to remove those black marks. Bruce

maple fretted epic 4?

Judging by your name, I'm not sure how interested in 4 strings you are.

Think I will pass on the maple fretted epic 4.

I have two 4 string basses, and they just sit.

If I were to take a trade, it probably would need to be a 5 string.

Thanks anyway.

As for Peter- nutted, not fretted. (nyuk nyuk)
