That is gorgeous- love the lighter wood (sapwood?) at the edges.

Has anyone had a chance to check this one out? All I know is that the owner said it weighs 10.4 lbs. and is not noisy...

This bass is nice! It appears to have an adjustable string nut installed as well. Nice price !

Neck PUP looks newer, with the logo embossed in it.

Some guy bought it and threw it on ebay starting at $6600.00 or Best Offer. It sold for (I believe) $4600.00
I recognized the bass from Bass Specialites, and contacted him and told him I recognized the bass.
He got real defensive and suggested I respect his privacy, etc. Perhaps fearful I would contact one of the bidders. Sheesh.
The guy claimed that, right after he bought it, this Doctor told him to stop playing...something about hand surgery. I figured he bought it only to resell.

I got no problem with someone making a profit doing something, but I sure get tired of the excessive 'spin' that so often goes along with it.

Was that one pickup replaced at some point?
