Love to hear everyone's opinion on this -- read through the whole listing. Like any great brand, it begs the question -- when is it real or is it fake?

So a lefty person bought a righty Shergold Marathon baritone/bass 6 (of Peter Hook fame) - and had Ed Roman build a lefty body and fake a lefty scratchplate with authentic lettering. It's as close as he could get to having his dream instrument, as a lefty. A shame that he sold off the original body - it would have allowed him to restore the instrument to its original state.

Reminds me of someone who wanted to trade the neck from my Yamaha SC800 guitar, since his Japanese guitar hero had that exact neck on his Yamaha, and he himself had one with a different peghead decal. It's a nice instrument, so I didn't want to mess it up.

How Ella Fitzgerald got mixed up in all this ...
