Looking around G-Base and saw this. Thought I'd share.

I bought one just like this in the late 1970's for about $200.
It was missing the G string and I spent about a year looking
for a new set but due to the extreme long scale I had no luck.
So I took it to a great tech along with a copy of the Bands'
Live album Rock of Ages with a pix of Danko and said go to it.
( I know,so young,so dumb ).Anyways he put a Dimazio Pre
pickup, removed the mystery pickup and installed a Badass
Bridge and did a beautiful job but it still didn't sound that good.
So being a little older and hopefully smarter I had a flight case
Built for it and it still resides under my pool table in the basement.I wonder what it's worth now ?
