It has a quilted maple top, pau ferro fingerboard. It has 1 Fatboy pickup, and three controls (vol,bass,treble). I acquired it in 2002. I can't play anymore so somebody has to play this awesome bass. What an awesome looking original Excel bass. Really nice Quilted Maple top. Of course I'm partial to this model since it was the first bass I got to design. Back then, it always had the 1 pickup, and there was no elbow contour.
