I am sure someone has already e-mailed him and let him know to get a build list and do better pics and the whole nine yards. You guyz are definitely going to get tired of my being on vacation here in the Wasteland with so little else to do . . . Or have you already? Well, it won't be long before my company starts pumping up for tax season and I am pretty much absent for four to six months.

I emailed him, and in addition to telling him it's not a Series I, I also mentioned that I think the "hairline crack" at the input jack is more than just a hairline crack; that the brass ring surrounding the jack suggests that the input jack was probably ripped from the body at some point and the ring is covering the damaged area. I can't tell anything about the crack at the neck; but at this point I'm thinking the seller knows nothing about the bass or is perhaps a little less than entirely forthcoming in his listing.

That crack looks major going to the top neck laminets. It might have been repaired. I know because I busted my dragon spoiler twice and that's what it can look like. Listing should be Busted Distillate. Wall aret or an expensive refinish and repair in Santa Rosa.

Hi, it's me the person who listed the bass. I apologize for my innacuracy. I am still a little unfamiliar with Alembic models and was misinformed. I am in the process of gathering the correct information. I appreciate all the help. Thanks.

Hey Christopher, welcome. We appreciate you coming to get the right info on the bass you are selling. I think it would be a good starter bass for a new Alembisist. Just post the serial number and request a build list. Then you can sell it with the right info and have a happier deal in the end. I wish more sellers would take the time and trouble. Thanks!

Hi Christopher; contact Alembic with the serial number and they can give you the build information. In fact, if you post it here, if they happen to see it, they will post a response.

Thanks guys, just so you know, this bass is 82D2233. I have changed the title to Distillate, and will add more info when I get it.
