Well I previously mentioned I would be offering my Orion baritone to the club to finance my new (to me) Skylark, but before I had oppurtunity an anonymous individual dilligently scanning the posts contacted me and we reached an agreement. However, I am still going to have a couple of nice pieces of equipment to get rid of in order to make ends meet, and given the excellent response I had, I thought I would post here before I went to ebay, etc.

Specifically, I have a ZVEX super duper two in one boost pedal and a Soldano 2x12" Reverb-o-Sonic combo which I would like to sell. The pedal is a handbuilt boutique pedal in excellent condition (none of the paint chips usually found in a Zvex pedal), and has been used probably less than an hour total. The effect is similar to a Krispy Creme Treble booster, or a Rangemaster (i.e. lots of crystal clean gain). However, the circuit is actually two clean boosts linked with a master volume, and if pushed hard enough can create a nasty (but interesting) distortion.

The Reverb-o-Sonic is a funky black and white faux snakeskin open back combo, and is in excellent condition also. The power cord has separated slightly at the point where it meets the adapter for the amp, but it still functions flawlessly. The cord is detachable, and I suspect would be very cheap to replace if someone wanted to, but as I mentioned, does not affect functionality at all. The distorion channel is voiced towards high octane blues, and is particularly suited to those SRV and Clapton esque tones. I always enjoyed my flawed renditions of Pink Floyd songs like "Time" and "Echoes" particularly with this amp. I just don't find myself playing distorted all that often anymore, or I would keep this amp for sure. The clean channel does not have all that much headroom, but still cranks out some nice slightly tube compressed clean sounds if you don't mind a touch of dirt. In the spirit of honesty, new tubes would likely be a good idea, but the current ones still suit my ear well enough.

For more information about these items visit www.zvex.com or www.soldano.com I will be selling the amplifier for less than half the prices I saw listed on the net, and the zvex will also be much cheaper than a new one (and will include the original box and rag tie that comes with all zvex effects).
