Alembic Elan 5-String Bass with Optional Europa Electronics Upgrade! Tons of Tonal Options

This is very close to Europa Specs which would run today with options for OVER $10,000 Retail.

Maple Body, Maple Neck w/Purple Heart Stringers/Ebony Board & Oval Inlays!

Tailpiece is is nicer than most Elan's.

The Europa controls are volume, pan, filter, Q switch, bass boost/cut switch, treble boost/cut switch.
The quick tone switches are bass and treble. Each switch provides 6db boost, flat, and 6db cut.

Very well taken care of & plays & sounds great with low action, very fast neck.

First $2800.00 gets it

Now that is just cruel teasing....!!!
Go for it Tbrannon, you know you want to.

My saving grace is that it is out of the uk so the tax, duty and cost of shipping is a good way to keep impulse buys in check.

I would love to pull the trigger, Jazzy. Alas, my wife is in nursing school for another 11 months and the cost of that + the fuel for her daily commute makes this an impossibility.

Would love to snag it though!!

Sigh . . . what a time to be broke and nothing to bargain with. "There will be another, there will be another . . . "

Best of luck with the sale.

That is such a great idea Clarky and if that one had signature electronics, you'd probably have yourself a deal.

Eric,

6-string Elan would be very tempting.
