This is a site I check fairly regularly for alembics and i've just noticed this sweet looking used Series I Europa.

If I hadn't made a recent purchase I would be contacting the shop to haggle a deal.

Magnificent instrument in one of my favorite body styles. Drool. Whimper. Good thing I am broke or I would be tempted to do something stupid.

Looks like a subtle "honeyburst" finish over the Burl Maple. I do recall that we've done this before.

Sans any custom options, this is just what I'd order in an Alembic, right down to the finish.

I went to this shop last fall. Definitely a good place to stay for bass players ;-))

It still works out at £6330 ! If we hadn't booked our holiday to the states I might have been tempted.
