Yoga, looks to me like a switch was installed at one point, and the hole plugged later on. However, I can't for the life of me fathm why anyone would want to put a switch on the opposite end of the other controls.

yes it's a 34" scale, the black circle is a beauty bead, i just put a new photo if you want to see it better

Isnt that just like calling a wart a beauty mark?

I find it hard to believe someone inlaid a black opaque wood (or stone?) circle just for the sake of aesthetics, lol

yes you're right but only color is different with the rest of body , it's very smooth
