I'm listing my Elan 6 string bass. It's a wonderful instrument. Looks, plays and sounds great! A couple of minor dings but very good condition overall. I have been playing my new five string Elan since I got it last month and I'm not ready to start a collection just yet. Listed at $2500.00... I'll post some pics as soon as I can downsize them |

Here is the details from a serial number request: Elan HLB6 91H6690 top: Walnut accent: Vermilion pinstripe body: Maple neck: Maple and Purpleheart, 34" long scale fingerboard: Ebony with pearloid oval inlays, 2.482 x 3.560 pickups: AXY56 controls: volume, pan, filter, Q switch backplate: plastic birthday: August 16, 1991 originally made for: Guitar Center, Chicago Previous two owners were in Indiana and Illinois. In May of 1993, we did a bunch of work on this bass. We repaired a crack in the fingerboard between the 22nd and 23rd frets on the bass side of the fingerboard. We also repaired a finish chip on the headstock and a scratch on the neck. The customer also had us change the original chrome tuners to gold and the plastic backplate to brass. The original items were returned. The truss rod cover was sanded slightly smaller, the original fit was too tight. Another modification was the Elan plus electronics (additing bass and treble cut/flat boost swtiches). |

Dude! That's a Europa in Elan clothing! Be patient.... unless you need an organ or something! 2300 is a steal! I just paid 3800 for basically the same bass like 5 months ago! Hold your horses or you'll hate yourself. Your price is good. It will sell. |

Could you please check the spacing on the strings at the bridge...less than 18mm(I hope)? |

the spacing between the E and B string at the bridge looks like 3/4 inch which translates to 19mm I believe... it looks like a little less than 16mm between the G and C strings |

Standard Alembic bridge spacing is to have the same side-to-side distance between the strings, so the center-to-center dinstances will vary somewhat. |
