We are just finishing up the DS-5 and then the DS-5R. The IN-2 will be after that, but I'm not ready to set a date just yet. The DS-5R is actually being much harder than we thought, and some of the components for the IN-2 are quite obscure, so we are looking into other components. I don't need all the features, just the DIs and switchable effects loops for each channel. The biggest issue for me is the metal work (punching holes for the XLRs) as the rest of it is just soldering basic connections. Or even purchase a Radial or any number of other switch boxes. sonicus Senior Member Username: sonicus Post Number: 3183 Registered: 5-2009 Posted on Wednesday, January 01, 2014 - 7:06 pm:    Charles, If you have an Alembic DS5R in your rack to power your Series I , the front and back audio outputs are in a parallel circuit if I remember correctly. If you wish to let someone play their bass trough your rig providing for example you have the signal output connected from the back routed on the way to the amplification , a mono instrument can be plugged into the front TS 1/4" jacks on the front of the DS5R. If you switch to mono both sides will get the same signal down 3 dB I believe per parallel mult . You just might want to unplug the 5 pin from your Series I from the front of the DS5R first. I have moved my F2-B and DS5-R switches to the front of both boxes.
