What an enticing ad. The text truly motivates me to contact the seller

I can just imagine how fun it would be work with this guy to agree on a reasonable sale price. My first question of course would be...do you have any guns in your house.

Not defending the guy, but if you've posted on CL lately you know that the 'BS' is very deep. I get tons of emails, some sounding very specific - "Hi, I'm interested in the bike, can you send some high res pics?"

You send some add'l info and you get a response about how "I'm not interested now but did you know you can make thousands from home yadda yadda yadda."

So although there's no excuse for poorly written ads with a bad attitude, I can see how someone not particularly savvy might get frustrated with the whole experience.

I sent him an email, he was very polite in his response. He wants 5500. Not as bad as I would have thought, but still too much for me.

Looks really nice though. I've kind of changed my mind about this style of Alembics after seeing Bill tgo's vintage series guitars in the flesh and Afrobeatfool's series bass. They do have a certain understated charm and beauty.
