After acquiring my latest Alembic dream, I need to sell my beloved '88 Distillate as I can't afford to keep both.

This lovely bass has a 32" scale, Macassar Ebony fretboard, Mahogany body and a spectacular birds eye maple top that matches the headstock. As far as conditions, the only thing worth mention is a ding on the bottom of body, you almost can't see it from an audience perspective and you surely can't from your playing position. Mica suggested me to just drop some crazy glue if I didn't want to professionally repair it and I did it as I felt no reason to repair it.
Besides that, the bass is in remarkable shape, both cosmetically and technically. Everything works as it should. For the sake of full disclosure, 2 of the tuners are marked Made in Japan, I realized this after 2 years I bought it as they are identical to the other 2 and never looked closely. It plays and sounds like a Distillate should. Controls are Vol, the magic filter, Q switch, 3 ways treble and bass switches.
Price for the Club members is $2350 shipped conUS via FedEx. I have more music gear currently for sale locally and I might pull this ad down if something else sells.

I have a bunch of pictures I can send via email upon request to possible buyers, including one with the ding on the bottom. my email: status42 at gmail dot com

Congratulations to whomever purchased this beautiful bass. I hope it was a club member. The only other Birdseye maple I've seen that rivals this Distillate is Jerry's shamrock bass.
