I hate to part with these but I just recently lost my job and family needs must come before luxuries at this point.

Both basses are in absolute mint condition. They were only played very lightly in a non-smoking environment.

The Brown Bass is your typical Walnut/Myrtle/Walnut sandwich with a Mahogany-Birch-Walnut neck. It is unlined fretless. The ebony fretboard does not have any grooves. The Alembic logo is silver and the bridge is brass.

The electronics are the standard for a Brown Bass: Vol/Vol/LP Filter/LP Filter/Q/Q; Pick-up selector; Stereo/Mono output.

It has Red LEDs in the neck.

It is strung with Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Flats. I may have the original set of CX-3 strings somewhere. I added a D-Tuner to it but I have the original tuner as well.

I purchased the bass new in 2003 from BassNW. I'm asking $5000 which includes a fitted hard case and insured shipping in the continental US.

The 5-String is custom made. It was made in 1998 but I purchased it new in 2000 from B&B Music in Delaware. It has a Rogue body shape with Orion/Epic electronics (Vol/Balance/Bass/Treb). The top laminate is a stunning Burl Walnut with a Maple accent. The body is a very nice piece of Mahogany. The neck is Maple with four Walnut strings. The logo and bridge are brass.

What makes this bass custom is the 36" extra long scale length. The B-string on this bass is really thunderous without being flabby. Even with its extra-long scale, it is easy to reach the low notes in the first position. I don't think that I have really big hands and I never had any trouble hitting all the notes.

I'm asking $3000 for this bass which includes a fitted hard case and insured shipping to the continental US.

I'll entertain offers if someone wants to make me an offer on the pair.

The SWR WorkingMan 12 is pre-Fender. I purchased it new in 2000. Again it was only ever used very lightly in a non-smoking environment. The clipping LED quit on me sometime ago. It probably is just a loose wire but I never tried to get it fixed.

When you pair the WM12 with the WM 1x10 cab the 5-String really comes alive. The WM 1X10 cab was bought new in 2001. It is also pre-Fender.

The amp and cab would be really difficult to ship, but drop me a line if you are interested and we'll see if we can work something out.

I live in Northern WI so I could deliver to Southern WI, Minneapolis, and Chicago. I may be traveling to Louisville KY or Orlando FL or Philadelphia PA soon. So if you live en-route we may be able to meet somewhere close.

Yes. Both basses are still available. Send me a PM and I'll send you some pictures. I can't figure out how to post pictures to the forum.
