It would be my dream Alembic if it wasn't priced so high. I contacted him about it and was told it's a consignment item. I've gone to that store many times over the last 25 years or so, and their prices are usually sky-high. Many instruments sit there forever. I remember when they had the so-called Stanley Clarke Ibanez prototype for sale for around $9000 or something silly like that. You might get that much for it if it were in Europe, but even then it could be a bit on the pricey side for over here. The 2nd hand bass-market, this side of the pond, is definitely a buyers' market at the moment (on the whole).
