This is an utterly bomb proof flight case custom made for my shorty that has flown the coop. It should fit all the Stanley style short scale basses. It's beautiful and barely used. I did one fly date with it and then went back to the factory case for all my local gigs.

Pictures and story at this thread: http://alembic.com/club/messages/393/110007.html?1312785304

I'd like to get $500 shipped in the US.

Edwin - On the end of the case opposite the casters, is there a strong handle to assist in wheeling the case as opposed to carrying it? I think the (in)famous Ed Roman used this company to construct cases of B.C Rich Bich's among others, one of my Bich basses rests in a case that minus the wheels looks exactly the same.

Yes, there is a retractable handle. It's pretty easy to move around and isn't all that heavy, even loaded.

Or a personal check. Paypal fees are pretty high.

Someone grab this, definitely best protection for your Alembic.
Also great as stage extension for those tiny stages:

(That's my case, not the one that's for sale. I'm sure Edwin never allowed beer bottles etc in a steamy pub on his case)

It's the kind of case I'd consider if it were a) over here in the UK and b) I was touring regularly with my SC Deluxe. That is heavy duty protection.
I had a case very similar but without the wheels for my first Europa 5 bass but it was much too heavy to carry and could not get it into my car with the bass rig so it had to go and I got a smaller flight case.
I hope you find a keen buyer.

I wish I could have gotten this before I had Calzone build me a case for my SCSD. Yours is MUCH nicer! I'm getting a Jan-Al for my custom Europa. I love the casters!

OK. $400 shipped in the US. I'll talk to anyone else out there who is interested. It's just sitting here and need to get on the road. It lives for the road.
