http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3765587208&fromMakeTrack=true#ebayphotohosting Im sure most of you have seen this listing (there were originally two for the same item)...... Im sorry but something doesnt jive here. There is no way that the photographed Epic is a 6 string. I e-mailed the seller (bc I am really hoping to find a nice 5-string fretless Epic soon). Any thoughts, comments?!? |

The bass in the picture is a five string. The seller says he is selling a six sting, and that the bass in the picture is the bass that he is selling. The description is entirely lifted from the Alembic site. The listing does not inspire confidence <g>. I would recommend passing on this one, unless you live near Harvey, Illinois and can actually go and see the bass for yourself. (Message edited by davehouck on December 01, 2004) |

Hmm, looks like shenanigans to me too. The seller still is claiming that the bass is a six string in a reply to a question also. Even with microsoft paint as a magnifier there are clearly only five strings. |
